How Remote Execution FROM TL works

this file is include on execSetResults.php this way

Function to launch remote execution executeTestCase() is present on remote_exec.php.
Configuration to access Remote execution server is done via Custom Fields.
This config is retrieved using method:
getXMLRPCServerParams() from class cfield_mgr.class.php

Now a couple of examples to try to make clear configuration
Example 1. configure Remote Execution Server for EACH test case
1. create a new test project
2. import Custom Fields provided with TestLink distribution 1.9.3 and up
docs/file_examples/custom_fields/RE-XMLRPC-customFields.xml
3. assign to your test project
4. import test suites provided on
third_party/user_contribution/fakeRemoteExecServer/all_testsuites_remote_fake_exec.xml
5. Give a look to
third_party/user_contribution/fakeRemoteExecServer/
you will find a simple do nothing server.
so some tests to see you can call it using:
third_party/user_contribution/client4fakeXMLRPCTestRunner.php
When everyting work ok then you can continue your configuration
6. edit each test case to add the Remote Exec Server URL
7. create a Test Plan
8. create at least one build
9. add all test cases
10. enable remote execution on your custom config
11. Go to execute feature, open left side tree, click on test case 'sayPassed'.
12. on right side screen you will find 'Execute and save results' button.
13. click it, screen will be updated with execution result
