Greetings all,
I have a team with a specific need to be able to execute shell scripts at time of test execution. I would like to create a custom field that will allow them to add/edit the script with the test case and kick it off via a button or something at time of test execution. Does TestLink provide this functionality or has anyone build it out before?
Thanks,
Jeff

Re: Custom Field to execute shell script
There is something that can be similar (not 100%).
There is possibility to request execution to a external XMLRPC server
We (dev team) have used XMLRPC just because till know our API is written with this kind of webservice approach.
I will try to find some docs about how this works and post some link here.
Using this example may be you can develop your solution.
