moving from RC1 to RC2 will not do any harm to your data. there are two minor alternations in tables during the update process, but it will not touch your testcase data. i did the update already, and it worked.
you still might want to see this linkhttp://www.teamst.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=402 as there were missing to files and a folder in the download package, and i dont know, if thats fixed already.
