Help with Project Organization

Post by bennid »

Hello,

I was asked to provide a new way to view historical data for some subtests that we have, and I'm trying to use testlink to do it. The issue is that I have a lot of variables, so I'm trying to figure out the best way to get the results into the system (will all be automation), and view the current results, as well as historical results by build. Here are the variables I have:

Branch (A, B, C)
Build (can have overlaps, so branch A and B can have build 1040)
OS Details (Linux|Windows, 32|64 bit, 1|2cpus)
Environment (Where we're starting the servers... similar idea to a testbed)
Testcase

Has anyone done anything like this? People are going to be needing to see the latest build for branch A for 32 bit single proc linux on testbed X for testcase 1. As well as any historical data.

Thanks,
Ben

Use the Platform management and assign them to build and assign accordingly to each build or together

well may be you can create 2 builds have one platform each and can track the status
Thanks,

Based off the lack of replies, testlink may not have the functionality for this
