I have create a project called TCC in Testlink and i have create a user foobar witn no global rights.
Then i set user foobar as leader to TCC under "Assign Test Project roles", and under "Assign Test Plan roles" the user has the rights "<Inherited> leader".
Then the user create a testplan and set it active but not public, when the user then goes to the "Project" page the user can't se any testplan only the message "You don't have permissions for any ACTIVE Test Plan ".
Why cant the user se testplan, the rights is "<inherited> leader"?
When i change the testplans rights to "leader", then the use can se testplan.
Shouldent "inherited leader" and "leader" be the same?
Question about rights

Re: Question about rights
Inherited is NOT APPLICABLE for PRIVATE test plans, because will be USELESS the PRIVATE concept.
Private means => you have to assign an SPECIFIC ROLE on this test plan
Private means => you have to assign an SPECIFIC ROLE on this test plan
Re: Question about rights
Ok, that explains what happends.
Does privat means that only members (that has a specific testplan roll set) of the project kan se and use testplan or is it only the creator?
And public means that all users regardles if they are members or of the project can se the testplan?
Sorry for the question, but i'm new user with testplink and it's hard when the manual is not up to date.
