Hi everyone,
I'm a little bit puzzled with the way that test execution result for different builds works. So, before reporting any issue I need your help to find out whether or not it's working properly.
In test execution page there is a button to toggle between "Show only last execution" and "Show complete execution history". The question is:
1) When "Show only last execution" is selected, should we see the last execution result in any active build? For instance, if we have 3 builds and all of them are active and a test case has been executed in all 3 builds, should I see 3 execution results?
2) Assuming there are 3 builds and I select "Show complete execution history" then select build V1.00, should only the history of execution in V1.00 be displayed? in the other words, "complete history" is referring to the history of execution in a single build or all builds?
3) why it always shows the last version of a build (e.g. V3.00) regardless of what build you've selected from the dropdown menu?
-Last execution (any build) - Build : V3.00 , when V1:00 is selected
-Last execution (any build) - Build : V3.00 , when V1:00 is selected
-Execution history - Build : V3.00 , when V1:00 is selected
Thanks.

Re: Displaying last execution result (any build)
Sorry there was a typo in my 3rd question. Here is the right one:
3) why it always shows the last version of a build (e.g. V3.00) regardless of what build you've selected from the dropdown menu?
-Last execution (any build) - Build : V3.00 , when V1:00 is selected
-Last execution (current build) - Build : V3.00 , when V1:00 is selected
-Execution history - Build : V3.00 , when V1:00 is selected
3) why it always shows the last version of a build (e.g. V3.00) regardless of what build you've selected from the dropdown menu?
-Last execution (any build) - Build : V3.00 , when V1:00 is selected
-Last execution (current build) - Build : V3.00 , when V1:00 is selected
-Execution history - Build : V3.00 , when V1:00 is selected
Re: Displaying last execution result (any build)
IMHO in addition to the questions, it would be better if you provide a clear detailed document with a good scenario
where you detail what are the results that your are getting.
This is very, very different that the information you have provided in this post.

Re: Displaying last execution result (any build)
Well, I start from 3rd question in my post.
In test execution page, regardless of what release/build (e.g. V1) is selected, it prints last build (e.g. V3). Again, the reslt is for V1 but the title is for V3 like this ".... - Build : V3.00".check out the screenshot http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/2626 ... ssue01.jpg
Here are more screenshots that may be useful to clear my questions:

Re: Displaying last execution result (any build)
Here is an example of what I think it would be great IMHO for community:
https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0B-hNf ... kxQWM/edit
Do not think the quality is excelent but the idea: i.e. to have an scenario, analise it on your desk and on test link and explain what are you
observing. All these documents were generating while working on 1.9.4 , to understand differences with 1.9.3
If you or any other user just add a couple of images without detailed explanation (may be paranoic one) is not easy for anybody out there understand
the request, try to provide help, and/or learn something.

Re: Displaying last execution result (any build)
Thanks for the links. I'm sure I can use them.
Regarding your comment, I have asked 3 questions in my initial posts. I believe, I've made them very clear along with some images to make it more clear, so not to hear any complain. It looks like, I was not successful.
My questions don't involve any scenario. They're just about displaying test execution page for different builds.
Does anybody else have difficulty in understanding my questions?
