Spurious calls to JIRA from Testlink

Hello All,

We are using Testlink 1.9.3 and we have integrated testling with JIRA using JIRASOAP.

There are continuous spurious calls to JIRA from Testlink. Please refer below details.

1.9.3 is not supported anymore => no more fixes => only choice is upgrade
BE CAREFULLY - In 1.9.4 and up, query metrics report has been removed due to no time to refactor

Can some one please help answering these questions. I am not able to figure out whatever happening is correct or incorrect

- why there are so many "getStatuses" calls to JIRA?
- After which action in Testlink, getStatuses method called?
- Is getStatuses is specific to users and projects he has access to?
