Not able to delete users/roles (1.9.9)

I am unable to delete users and roles, users I can only disable, while on the view roles tab I can see a delete column but it is not populated with anything (see included picture.



According to what I have found on the forum/mantis this should work.

I am running the server on a linux installation (Fedora 16)
PHP 5.3.20
MySql 14.14

Users can not be deleted only disabled
Standard roles can not be deleted
