I'm using TL 1.9.15 [DEV] (Tauriel).
On the "Assign Test Case Execution" page ( Test Plan Contents > Assign Test Case Execution ), in the upper-left portion of the page, there is a dropdown menu of users.
There is a label "Bulk user assignment".
Immediately to the right of this dropdown, there are two buttons, "Do" and "Save". To the right of that there is a checkbox with a small envelope icon next to it.
Immediately below this arrangement is a button "Do Bulk user remove"
Below this is a table listing test cases, priority, assigned to, and a dropdown of available users.
I am trying to determine what that top list of users just under "Bulk user assignment" does. My guess was that if I highlighted a name and clicked "Do", that user would be added to any checked Test Cases.
I checked a Test Case, highlighted a name in that top list, and clicked "Do". Nothing changed.
I checked a Test Case, highlighted a name in that top list, and clicked "Save". Nothing changed.
It is highly likely I am misunderstanding what that dropdown list of names is used for, and what the "Do" and "Save" buttons are supposed to do. Can somebody please tell me what those items are supposed to do?
In "Assign Test Case Execution", what does dropdown do?

Just tested
1. select user on combo
2. do not select test case
3. click do => Message (via Javascript) indicating you need to select at least a test case.
How this is intended to work
1. You select one or more test cases
2. choose one or more users
3. click do => then this users are showed on combo present on right side of each test case
3. click save => users are assigned and saved to DB
