I installed MYSQL 5.0 and i downloaded others from XAMPP(as per installation guide).

After that what i have to do for installtion or whare i have to place these installtion files of Testlink , Xampp.

Please guide me or povide me some step by step procedure..

Thanks ...

I collected/downloaded all software dumps neeeded (TestLink Dump, XAMPP for the combination of db,php and webserver). I want to use my local machine as server and Apache as webserver (which is running already) and i don't know where to place the TestLink Software installation file and how to proceed further with these files. I am using Windows OS.

Thanks

Check XAMPP manual to see where is directory for html files. Copy TL there and browse via Firefox. For example on my PC it's directory: /var/www/html/ but it's differ.

Look for htdocs folder under xampp and place the testlink folder into that and follow the instructions on the installation manual. It install beautifully and also tells you if any additional improvements to your web server are required during installation.

I use 1.7.4 currently, but installed 1.8 RC4 for evaluation. So far it's looking smashing.

Congrats once again to the testlink team :)
