Released 1.8 Version

Hallo Testlink Team
Congratulation to you and your super testtool.
"My" company wants to use testlink as testtool. And so
we are waiting for the released 1.8 version of Testlink.
My question is: How many days or weeks do we have to wait until the released version is ready?
Maybe you can give me a rough estimation of your "planned" release date.
I don't want to hear an exact date.
I think, there are also other Tester like me, who are waiting for this release date.
Question1: Do we have any problems in the future, when we start with the 1.8RC3 Version.
Question2: Do we have problems when we want to upgrade from 1.8RC3 to 1.8.
Or in the future from 1.8RC3 to 1.9 ???

My goal is final release in three weeks.
Use RC3. It's stable enough to use it. Update will be just replace files (for 99%).

doesn't work? our company now use 1.70, on a test computer, I upgrade TL from 1.70 to 1.74, then how to upgrade to 1.8?
