"TestLink setup cannot continue at the moment"

Hi,

I\\\'ve downloaded TestLink 1.6.2 and installed the tar package on our server then created the \\\'testlink\\\' database in mySQL. The problem is that when I go to my \\\"/testlink/install\\\" directory in the browser I select \\\"New Installation\\\" but then it gives me the following error:

Does anyone know what this error is referring to?

The OS is Linux (red hat) with Apache 2.0.56, php 4.4 and mySQL 4.0.23.

TestLink requires MySQL a minimum of version 4.1.0...

I am getting the same problem. My OS is VISTA.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try with 1.7.0 final

I tried 1.7.0 final version and follow the following up to step 7. On step 7, it didnt give me the date but it gave me a message 'It works'.

Maybe the problem is the tomcat. In my folder 'Apache Software Foundation', it has two folders inside it. One is Apache2.2 and Tomcat 5.5.

I put the inside C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs

When I opened it through Firefox browser through this path C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\testlink_170\install.php

I got this error:

I am using VISTA and MS SQL. Do I need to setup something on MS SQL? I dont have MySQL and Postgresql.
