Can't query test plans under "Assign User Role" ta

Hi, I coudln't find any issue with a similar problem so I started this thread.
I'm sorry if had to open it under configuration forum,I wasn't sure.

We've recently upgraded TL from 1.6.2 to 1.8.3.
and I'm having hard time assigning user roles.

I got several Testplans under each Project (nothign special here...)
and when I pick Assign user roles -> "Assign Test Plan roles" I get a drop down with all my tests plans. Now I can modify the first I get in the list (default first) but if I pick some other TP I get empty page back without all the users.

The same happans with "Assign Test Project roles"

I"m no DB / mySQL expert, can anyone think of somthing I can do
to FIx this issue (it used to work fine under 1.6.2)

I figured out somthing by myself , I can pick the TP from the TL homepage than click assign user roles - works OK.

However, maybe there is still a little bug when you pick a TP once already in "Assign Test Plan roles" section and get a no users under it ?

also, one of my Teammates created a TP under 1.6.2 and I didn't add view / execute rights for that test at the time, now after the upgrade I didn't see that test even under the DropDown list at the home page .
Only after he granted me permition I could see it.

for comperison if now (under 1.8.3 )someone opens a new TP I see it right away

Hi, i had similar problem as you. I'm fresh beginner with TL. When I tried to assign users to the project, when I changed (clicking on Change button) the project from dropdown menu still only blank page appeared (without any user, who could be added to the project)

Then I noticed a button (very small) in upper right corner of application screen for switching among available projects. You always have to be set into the project, where you want to assign users. This is the way, how it works..

But then I found the button "Change" useless
