Delete users?

I have several users that need to be deleted. I don't see a way to delete them, only disable. Does someone know where the button is or method for deleting a user completely rather than just disabling?

We have choosen to disable users instead of deleting it due to problems when displaying info where USER ID was still present but deleted from users table.

Right now your choice is delete user using sql statement

A user cannot be physically deleted from 1.8.3. I plan to renew this feature in 1.9 (but only for users that do not edit data).
IMO Inactivate users is solid solution.

I respectfully disagree with not being able to delete users. I have two entries in the system now, one with a misspelled user ID and the other deceased. I am not sure what the aversion to deleting accounts is. I will be looking forward to the ability to correct this.
