Are you really certified tester?
The certified tester knows that performance is related to HW. The term "hudges companies" is also vague ...
I cannot recommend using one TL instance for 500 and more testers together. You can have cluster or more independent TL instance with respect to particular products of course.
You can also make performance tests for you huge company and share results for other users.

Thank you for your fast answer.
I'm looking for TestLink users feedback and trying to collect all information about it. I have notice on the forum some feedback about bad performances up to 3,000 test cases. That was the sense of my question. We project to perform more than 10,000 testcases (60/70 users).

I know users that have more than 40 000 TCs. 70 users is common number. These are not huge numbers.
You know that every software has limits. We are aware too. 1.8 version solved several bottleneck that was in 1.7 version. So your finding could be for earlier 1.8 version or older.
There is no open performance request in our tracker now as much as I know.

THANK YOU for these informations.
Congratulations for this nice tool.
All feedbacks I've collected yet are very positives. (about 10 differents projects)
TestLink is a very serious alternative against Editors tools.

Good continuation.

Best regards.

Hi,
Is there more information available somewhere about how to 'cluster' TestLink for large volumes of test cases and high throughput of test results?
Thanks,
LR
