We are using Testlink 1.8.2 and want to apply a fix that was resolved in 1.9. Is it possible?
We want to apply fix made to bug 0002999 to 1.8 until 1.9 is production ready.
We want to report the execution results to the senior management by providing a hyperlink(URL) to the test plan execution results. Can anyone help us?

we're using 1.8.1 and can generate the report via email.

fixed for 1.9 CAN NOT BE USED on 1.8.x
