Test Case editing after Test execution

Post by bck »

Hello again,
by testing TestLink i have another question. After I create TestSuits and TestCase + Assign TestCases to Tersters, how can I see (as TestLeader) which Test Fails so I can create a new Version of this TestCase.

One way is to see it in the TestResults > Failed Test Cases.

My way in this case is currently to Build a new Revision > check which TestCase fails and then to create manually for each TestCase a new Version. Also in this case I have to switch for each TestCase between the TestResults and the TestSpecification.
The problem: If there are more than 10 TestCases fails, it is very fussy to change each TestCase by check it first in the TestResults.

hi,
I think my question is not so clear.
As TestLeader I want to see, which TestCase fails so I can make a new Version.

That I can see failed TestCases in the menu TestResults, thats clear!

But I can't see failed TestCases for example in the menu Test Specification, where all my TestCases are listed.
In my opinion I think, it will be a good way to see failed TestCases in the menu Test Specification.

maybe i do not understand the reason for such a request.

do you fix bugs by adjusting the test case to the actual behaviour ? (just kidding)
